CAYHILL:--- The St. Maarten Medical Center is hosting a weekly radio program, Care Connect, as part of its yearlong 25th anniversary celebrations.
During the upcoming 12 weeks we extend an invitation to all members of our community to join us as we share valuable information with you. Our primary focus with this program will be on important issues and areas of interest which will include our mission and vision, history, our care processes and also health topics.
We have put together a program with the interest of our community in mind. Based on feedback we have chosen topics that would be beneficial; these include heart disease, colon cancer, sickle cells, lupus and kidney disease just to name a few.
Each week a different topic will be covered with a medical specialist from SMMC. On the first edition of the radio program the history, mission and vision of the St. Maarten Medical Center will be discussed
Care Connect host Mr. Wendell Moore will interview General Director, Mr. Kees Klarenbeek; Medical Coordinator, Dr. Felix Holiday and Hospital Information Specialist, Mrs. Beatrice Richardson.
The first radio program will air on 11th of January and will continue on weekly every Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on PJD2 102.7.
