PHILIPSBURG--Princess Juliana International Airport SXM organised its second annual Air Show at Walter Plantz Pier on Sunday. The event brought the curtain down on the St. Maarten Day celebrations that started on Friday.
The show was a bit shorter this year as spectators stood amazed watching the two planes performing stunts for 15 minutes. Despite the shortened show, Walter Plantz Pier saw a huge crowd turn out to the organised Family Fun Day filled with music and live performances. A special edition of the Boardwalk Jazz Festival was also organised for the onlookers’ enjoyment.
